Around roof drains, ensure the drain bowl is securely fastened and the membrane is fully adhered inside the bowl. Skylights require a full perimeter curb with same-level insulation and a metal cap. For conduit or small pipes, install a neoprene pipe boot that fits snugly around the pipe and is embedded in the roof material. Finally, inspect all edges and terminations. Even a tiny gap can cause a leak years later.
